FLY Backpackers” is committed to respecting your privacy. We have designed our websites and booking engines so that you may visit them without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information, unless you opt to do so. Once you opt to provide personally identifiable information (any information by which you can be identified such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and credit card number), it will only be used to support your customer relationship with us and for our own internal purposes, including marketing and research, customization of our websites and improving the content of our websites.

What we collect: When making a reservation: When you make a reservation online or by phone through our customer support center, you will be asked for your name, address, phone number, e-mail address and credit card information. This information is used to contact you for customer service, to guaranty your reservation with our travel suppliers and/or to bill you for your travel purchase. We may also ask you for other personal information, such as your frequent traveler numbers. During the booking process you can choose not to receive our newsletter or travel reminders by unchecking the appropriate boxes on the online form. Thereafter, if you would rather not receive them, please click on the "unsubscribe" link or follow the instructions in each e-mail message.

Third-party vendors: Some of FLY Backpackers’ online booking engines are powered by third-party vendors. You should note that these vendors may have privacy policies and practices that differ from those of “FLY Backpackers”.

We strongly encourage you to read the privacy policies of these vendors when using their websites.

E-Postcards:FLY Backpackers” provides electronic postcards cards via our websites and our affiliate websites for you to send to a friend. We store the e-mail address of all recipients, the message you want to send and the URL for locating the greeting card. We do not sell, distribute, or license in anyway the use of recipient e-mail addresses. We use them solely for the purposes of notifying recipients on your behalf that a card is waiting for them at the designated URL. After 30 days, all information pertaining to your postcard is deleted.

About Cookies: Many websites, including those owned by “FLY Backpackers”, use cookie technology to help users navigate efficiently. The cookie is a small text file that resides on your hard drive. From time to time, our site(s) will request the cookie from your browser so that we can retrieve the stored information. Our primary goals in collecting information are to provide and improve our Site, services, features and content, to administer your Membership (together, the "Service") and to enable users to enjoy and easily navigate the Site.


5. PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

When you register with us through the Site(s) and become a “FLY Backpackers” Member, when you choose to apply for a job or applying as an investor, or when you wish to contact a “FLY Backpackers” staff, we will ask you for personally identifiable information. This refers to information about you that can be used to contact or identify you ("Identity Information"). Identity Information includes, but is not limited to, your name, phone number, email address and home postal address, but DOES NOT include your credit card number or billing information.

In order to process some of your transactions through the Site, we may also ask for your credit card number and billing information ("Billing Information") (Identity Information and Billing Information together, "Personal Information"). However, if the address of a listing you post matches that of your credit card billing address, that address would be considered Identity Information. We use your Personal Information mainly to provide the Service and administer your inquiries.

We also collect the other information that you provide as part of registration and the administration and personalization of your profile webpage (e.g., without limitation, zip code (on its own) and individual preferences or demographic information) ("Non-Identifying Information").

We use your Personal Information (in some cases, in conjunction with your Non-Identifying Information) mainly to provide the Service, complete your transactions, and administer your inquiries.

Certain Non-Identifying Information would be considered a part of your Personal Information if it were combined with other identifiers (for example, combining your zip code with your street address) in a way that enables you to be identified. When you visit the Site, whether as an “FLY Backpackers” Member or a non-registered user just browsing (any of these, an “Best Hotels Offer”), our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type or the webpage you were visiting before you came to our Site, pages of our Site that you visit, the time spent on those pages, information you search for on our Site, access times and dates, and other statistics. 8. EMAILING VIA “FLY BACKPACKERS” ACCOUNTS

As part of the Service, “FLY Backpackers” staff may communicate with “FLY Backpackers” users through use of the "Contact", “Careers”, “Partners” section feature on the site.
Where “FLY Backpackers” Users have selected the option of adding one or more email addresses to an online form, the message they create in the corresponding template will be sent from “FLY Backpackers” to those email addresses on their behalf. These email addresses will be used only for the purpose of sending the email communication to the addresses and to “FLY Backpackers” staff.


9. PHISHING

Identity theft and the practice currently known as "phishing" are of great concern to “FLY Backpackers”. Safeguarding information to help protect you from identity theft is a top priority. “FLY Backpackers” Members and Users

When you register through the Sites and submit your Personal Information to create a profile webpage (IF), “FLY Backpackers” staff will see the information you provided.
We will NOT display your Profile Information or personal information on the web site.
We will share some information ONLY with your prior permission, on third party sites.
Feedbacks and comments will be “eventually” published without your permission.


Aggregate Information and Non-Identifying Information

We may share aggregated information that does not include Personal Information and we may otherwise disclose Non-Identifying Information and Log Data with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling and other purposes. Any aggregated information shared in these contexts will not contain your Personal Information.
We don’t sell your personal information and any data linked with you to third parties.


Service Providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Site-related services (e.g., without limitation, maintenance services, database management, web analytics and improvement of the Site's features) or to assist us in analyzing how our Site and Service are used. Changing or Deleting Your Information

All Members may review, update, correct or delete the Personal Information in their registration profile by contacting us to the referral page “Contacts”, selecting: subject “Account” for editing the relevant part of their profile. If you would like us to delete your record in our system, please contact us and we will attempt to accommodate your request if we do not have any legal obligation to retain the record.
